One great optimistic thought: one's inner
life may be completely one's own.
If one has achieved some calm, some
ability to be strong in the face of
the world's chaos this will always enable one
to grow within. So very little is needed
to sustain this: phsical sustenance
and the ability to give love and receive
it,ore, to search it out.

With me, if I can continue this
growth, this "creation" of myself I have
the essential. All the rest just ennobes
this basic work, or joy, or creation.
